About Me
I’ve been writing for 20 years. I’ve written two novels, published several small humor books, been part of three sports collections, performed stand-up comedy, produced a small documentary on a legendary pro wrestling manager, am producing a documentary on a legendary hip-hop DJ, and acted in an indie movie.
I’ve also been part of a promo video with Jon Stewart, directed a promo video with Bert Kreischer, made a cameo in a comedy film, and hung out with Humpty Hump. I also have a good Fat Joe story if you’re interested.
Oh, and my day jobs have sent me all over the world, from war zones to Hawaii.

Who is Jordi Scrubbings?
Jordi Scrubbings is an alias I developed over 20 years ago when creating a character for a comedy sketch my friends and I were making. Jordi was the son of Dick Scrubbings, a famous newscaster. Jordi was named after French DJ Jordy, who became famous in the early 90s for his song "It's Hard to be a Baby".
When I first started writing in the mid-2000s, I wasn't sure where I was going with it or how it would be received by my co-workers or bosses so I decided to use the alias "Jordi Scrubbings" on all my work. I also used Jordi Scrubbings on any social media platform because I didn't know how I would be received if found. Eventually, I wanted credit for the work I was putting in and the recognition I was getting so I started writing under my real name.
I do keep Jordi alive however. I write the Fighting The Man series of books under the nom de guerre Jordi Scrubbings because I don't want The Man to find me out.
