The Realtor (2024) - watched 22 May 2026

A wrestling real estate agent? A guy who finds his confidence in the ring? Rob Van Damm, Sgt Slaughter, and Jake the Snake? Tommy Davidson? A secret cult of successful realtors? Alas, so much unmet potential. The plot meandered. There wasn’t much of a conflict. There wasn’t much of a build. The wrestling was realistic but the organizations were not. There were parts that didn’t work. And did it take place in Philly or Baltimore? It seemed to jump cities for no reason. Low budget or not, I wanted to really like this. It could have been a classic. They could have taken the money spent on cameos and paid better writers.

Grade: 2 foreclosed stars out of 5

The Cat from Outer Space (1978) - watched 18 Jun 2026

When I asked my cat if this was a true story, he denied everything. But I think he is lying.

Fun old school Disney family movie.

Grade: 4 stars out of 5

Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS (1975) - watched 14 Jul 2026

I’ll be watching Tom & Jerry cartoons until this disappears from my brain.

A movie about a Nazi torture camp run by a sadistic woman who does experiments on captured women. While trying to prove women can withstand more pain than men and proving her prowess to the leadership of the Third Reich, she puts the women of the camp through several scenes of utter repulsiveness. When a senior German general arrives for a visit, she puts on a show and tell not for the squeamish.

Why was this movie made? Why did they make sequels?

Grade 2 highly disturbing stars out of 5
